IM BACK! 

This is a serious!

I need to have a space where I can speak my thoughts!

Where It is not directly linked to my personal website

Where I can speak my mind on different things happening,

That don't have to be about the arts,

A place where I can speak about anything!

I am doing this, simply because I have so much to say that is not about my professional life. 

I need something less professional, and more of me! 

I won't post on here a lot,

but do expect at least a post or two a month!

You will read about a lot of things,

anything that my head just needs to say 

things happening in the world

and even what I think should happen!

BUT!

I still post every week on dpsukup.com about my professional life,

From acting, 

to goals,

to theatre,

to the arts,

to new photos,

to new videos,

to new quotes,

and to new jobs

Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

It can be a crazy time, for sure! Today marks that last day of the month, 37 days till graduation, and the 5 week mark left of school! 

Halloween a Christian holiday? Orginally Halloween was a Christian day, it existed as a time to remember, pray, to the saints and the recent loved ones who pasted away. 

Many different cultures have different ways celebrate. Some will give offering for the dead, showing them that they are welcome. Also lighting candles to light the way.

Now Halloween has a larger background,  with so many differnt culture. If you want to read more about this holiday then google it! 

I wanted to just give a snipet!!

As we approach a time,

One that many fear. 

My shorts get scared,

The pants beg for attention. 

The land is fearing,

As the temp tips down. 

Soon green will be gone,

White will be here. 

Bring joy for some,

Hate for the rest.

The joy of the mornings

Having the world to yourself

Where imagination creates without warning. 

Maybe one yellow spotted elf,

That wake you with his snoring. 

Maybe a giant snake sitting on your self,

That tells you your mothers is calling. 

 Maybe a purple, two headed giraffe who cleans himself

That watches all the sports and does all the scoring. 

Maybe a 5 legged, 16 armed, kola that cleans itself,

That loves to go walking. 

Whatever your imagination creates, 

You have the power to do it all. 

Have an adventures morning.

I wish I never

I wish I could go back

Form that time I posted that. 

I wish I could rewrite

I wish I could try again

From that time it changed everything. 

Mistakes happen everyday

They can eat us up 

They can tear us apart

Shred your confidence 

Only if we let it. 

When we look at the M word

Let's face it as we ready for battle. 

Charge head front and conquer 

Battle until the M is smaller then an atom. 

Take your experience, apply it. 

Own it for future use 

Until the next battle, prepare!

The day of the dead,

The past that bled red

Awake, all misled. 

They walk around, unsaid, 

Hunger for a loaf of bread,

We yell for them to go ahead,

As we see one in a creek bed,

Who simply looks misread

All he wants is his old wed. 

Can we help this undead?

When we write

We let our emotions pour out

So everyone can see our rawness. 

When we are able to do this

People will experience the greatest gift of all

The experience of human. 

To have this affect on a person

Will give us great strength 

However the question remains

Do we write for them or 

Do we write for us?

The Odometer

Hello All,

i remember the time that i had to drive alone
435 was the desired distance
this made up for a new adventure

my feeling were mixed.
alone excited fear thrill
mixed into one bowl

i sat down turned the key
the start of the engine started me
place into gear backup head forward

getting on the road was fine
energy pumping and thumping
eyes wide like an add child

imagery here there everywhere
my eyes traveled east west heaven hell
excitement ran like ice-cream on a hot day

this all changed when i encounter nothing
no city
no town
no village
nothing but darkness



my eyes became like a brick dropping through water
my body wanting to stop
but knowing if i do i would die

i kept on going
finally i saw something
the thrill of the world
twisted track that weaved and waved

the worlds of thrill and excitement came to one place
as i drove by my heart leaped
leaped for the joy of adrenaline

speeding by
this new emotion ended as quite as it came
again on this road of nothing
five long hours
200 more to go

as time ticked
the number shrunk
so did my heart

my fuel to e
nothing around
could i make it
50 left
0 liquids to give

as my fear started to come true
i saw the lights of a pump that would so save
it was like seeing an angel for the first time

a quick stop
a quick break
a quick fuel
i am almost home

the final hour went by quicker then ever
i made it alone
that was four years ago
now that seems like a pebble

what faces me now
thriple the length
a new adventure in my life

will the same emotions happen
i cant say but God will be there

God will give me the strength to continue
the protection of the open life
i my have fear but know it will be taken care of

welcome to life the road awaits

As I am about to face another adventure. This one is roughly 1100 miles further then I have ever gone to work. I have been to New York for  month, but this adventure will be for 5 months! I will be on tour with the Missoula Children's Theater in Missoula Montana! I can't wait to tell you more details about this when I find out! You all will be the first to find out!

Writings.

Today is a beautiful day! 

We had a hot day yesterday, but I can't complain. It could be worse, it could be snowing. 

The show was not that bad, in regards to the heat. I happened to sweat a lot, which is obvious to those who have seen this show. Other then that, it could have been worse! 

I felt yesterday's show in terms of acting, fighting, and all around was very strong for me. One of my favorite shows this season. Now that I think about it, I have said that a lot this summer, becuase it is true! Haha! I have had very few "off" shows!! I am very proud of that. 

This is simple called writings. My goal this year with this blog is simply write as much as I can. Forcing myself to write, will eventually help spawn new ideas and creativeness. 

This week we have christmas in July (July  25th) and I decided to partake in Secret Santa this year. Unfortunately, like most guys, we wait till the last minute to get the person anything! I guess I have some shopping to do! I still have time!:) 

Other then that, I will be heading somewhere special this Sunday! I can't wait to inform you all about it! Get ready to be jealous!! That goes for you Lauren!!

As I sit in this heaven

I soon realize

This is not a dream

As I look up

I see the sky, the clouds

I feel the wind, see the leaves dance

As I lay and look around

I notice that this is real

It is truth, it is life

As I write this

I realize I am awake

I am present 

I have found it 

What I have been searching for

A place in this world that is heaven

Heaven is for real

It is the blood of nature

The vanes of the trees

The buzz of flies

Nature is a physical heaven

It may not be yours 

But it is mine

If you treat it 

Like a fear

Like a wound

Like a war

Then she will treat you 

With so much more 

Fear, war, destruction

She will win 

She will be ruler

No matter what it takes

She will rage war

She will kill

She will destory

She will avenge 

Now if you Work with her

She will work with you 

She will deliver 

She will be friend

Now the question begs

What side are you on?
