A Kid Again

Recently I signed up for an amazing opportunity to donate to my favorite charity: A Kid Again! Many of you that read my posts on facebook are going to get sick of me posting about this over an over, but this is a great opportunity to donte to help an children that don't always have to chance to have a normal life becuase of their illness. This foundation helps for these children to have that expereience for each child enrolled.

This organization is nonprofit, and relizes on volunteers heavily! They are always in need of help! If you can spare, $1, $5, $10, or any amount that you can please contact me in person about giving by check or yo
u can donate online at:

That link will direct you to my donation page. But this may not be a good enough reason to donnate, take a look at this:

Dear Mr. Damron,I would like to thank you for all of the "smiles" that Adventures For Wish Kids brought to my son Dustin's face throughout the years. He especially cherished his time spent with the OSU Basketball players during the yearly Father & Son events! I think he is the biggest OSU Fan!!!Life is hard enough and to have to watch your child go through things that you don't know if even you yourself could survive, makes it difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I think back to times when Dustin had a surgery scheduled, being mad at the world and an invitation from Adventures would come to do an event and that smile we hadn't seen in weeks, would be a permanent fixture on his face! This year Dustin graduated from high school, turned 19 and although he is still able to participate, we have decided that we would give back instead. Enclosed please find a check to help provide Christmas gifts and smiles for other deserving children.Again, thank you for being there to help share our burden and for making Dustin feel like a kid when he needed it most.God bless you for all that you do!Sincerely,Brenda & Troy MillerDustin & Dakota

This was found on A Kid Again's website under their stories. I want to share a new story that tells the impact of what this organization is doing for children of all ages from 18 and under.
What I love about this story is that the parents saw such a huge impact on their child, that they even wanted to give back after leaving the program. The parents were able to see their child smile, like every child should be able to, for the first time in weeks! That smile is worth everrything to a parent.
If you do have a few minutes to spare in your day, please check out A Kid Again and read more about them!

I have a deadline of April 13th, and I am hoping to make my goal of $250! Can you help make this happen??

Thank you for reading, and I will share more stories from now till April 13th.

Finally Watch this clip from A Kid Again 2011 at Kings Island! It is worth a watch!!
