Life is Incredible.

Life is simply amazing.

It is the ultimate gift.

We have one life.

Be in the present. Be in the now.

I say this because just recently I lost an incredible friend and mentor. Her battle with cancer is finally over and now she is playing the piano above and looking down at all of her students preforming on the stage.

It will be strange not seeing her. But I know that see will always be there.

Life is the greatest gift given to us.

Each stage of life teaches lessons that help us along this journey and we may not realize at the moment the lessons presented.

Life is precious.

You will never know when this gift will end for the physical world. This is why we have to take time and cherish every moment, respect ever moment, and learn at each stage of life.

Life is short.

In our terms it may seem long, however with a blink of an eye it is over. It may last  X amount of Earth years, but eventually we will be back to our father. That is when our spirit is continued.

Life will end.

This is the truth that all need to understand and it should not be feared but celebrated. It is sad to see the physical body end as the spirit travels on. But in the end this world is a placeholder as the spirit travels to the one gift that is great then physical life: eternal life.

Have an amazing day today. Make memories that last forever. Spread Positivity. Erase Hate. Live in harmony.

With Age it All Makes Sense.

Well that title is about 10% true. Let's be honest, for all of my friends and family that is older then me, does it really make sense when you get older?

In my experience, somethings have started to make sense, but I feel I am left with more questions then answers. However, one things is for sure, growing up and moving out has provided me with more answers then questions.

When we are all children, we don't have this understanding of time, we frolic through the vines of adventure as if time was never in existence. We take for granted the moments with our family and tend to argue more then love or appreciate them. We eventually get to the point that we wish we were free from their grasps. As exciting as that seems then, it has been more brutal then any other wish. I wish I would have listened to Peter Pan sometimes.

On the flip side, it is a beautiful wish. From college to "the real world", I have come ever more closer to my parents the further I have gotten from them. Every second with them is a dream of reality that is more magical then a first visit to Disney World.

As for the part that make sense; we need to grow up to understand the beauty we had as a child to be able to grow and see the world for what it is: a gift. For myself, it has been the biggest lesson I have learned from life: time moves fast and we need to be awake to experience the greatness.

Personally I feel that if I had not made that "wish" when I was younger then I would not have the appreciation I have now for family, friends, and life.

I may still have many question and few answers and I am only 23, but the answers I do have, have allowed me to have a new understanding of life, family, and the world around me. Knowing that at any second it will be gone has awaken me to a new degree.

My challenge to all of you: be awake and don't take anything for granted. Time moves quickly and it can be very scary!!

Thanksgiving

Wow! Two holidays in one post...ok, just one, the other is just a social norm to call it a holiday.

Hello All,

How was your thanksgiving?! Was it spent eating a lot of food, spending time with family or was it focused on SHOPPING FOR AMAZING DEALS?! Lets just say that if you choose the shopping over thanksgiving, you are part of the problem.

When did shopping in this country become the best damn thing since the history of man (thought I was going to say sliced bread)?

The deals that are offered on Black Friday could happen every single day, however you greedy business don't want to hurt their profit margins and thus only offer the deals one day a year. Should like you should go out and save thousands....or you could say screw it and not go out and spend hundreds.

Thanksgiving is a time for family, maybe if we started to spend time for family many problems in this country would be solved. We have become so materialistic in this country that it is not even funny any more.

Maybe, we need to start acting like we are apart of this human race, start caring for each other, start having emotional connections. Instead of worrying about having the latest and greatest product available. Stop acting like the 1% and start acting like a human.

If you really want that product, then get it some other time. Saving $200 on something is basically stating that you are willing to sell your family for $200. Is your family worth that much? If not, then stop this crap of "Black Friday" and spend it with meaningful people. Sit down and have real conversations, have laughs, cries, and the sharing of memories. You only get one thanksgiving a year. Take this away from hanging with meaningful people, that is one less time you get in a year. You can shop the rest of the 365 days, but let Thanksgiving and other holidays be about the people that mean the most to you.

Ok, I need to stop. Have an amazing weekend! I hope it is filled with memories and not items.

Beautiful weekend

This past weekend I made a trip to this incredible place I call her me!

Hello all,

Hope all is well! Let the adventures begin for a new week!

As I was saying, I went home last weekend and it was a blast! Went camping with my family, did nothing but relax. Now the only thing that was hard about this trip: 6.5 hour drive! No matter how much I drive that rode, I get so bored!!

Any who, when I drive I get to thinking about things! I am very excited to say that is have come up with some ideas for a theatre company that I shall create in the way future!

This juice of this post is simply that I am reflecting everyday on my life, college career, my profession, and many other things. I am heading into a new chapter of my life and I am more then ready to grab my pen and write, but sometimes it gets a little nerve racking!

I do know I will have a lot of chapters in my life, it may be a long book, but I do know that when I am done, it will be a best seller!:) I hope that you all enjoy this ride I am going on and you are apart of! Without you, who would know my adventures!?

Anyways, keep an eye out this week for more information on my next job, new writings (may get into short stories this week), maybe you will see some drawings! It will be a mashed up week, but it wi be fun!

Have an amazing week,

Daniel!

Thursday Pursday(?)

Don't ask me why it is called Thursday Pursday. It is random.

Today is payday and that means I have more money!:) I love my life!:)

One thing I have noticed about this summer: I have gotten so close to so many amazing people! This group, we do some of the craziest and laziest thing in the world!

As you know we are going to go kayaking this Sunday and that will be an adventure!:) can't wait to update on that!!

We have been watching New Girl! One of my new favorite tv shows. Mic Mou!!

One thing is for certain: I never get to bed before 2am now!:) we are always watching something, a movie or a tv show.

I love them so much!:)

Today I traveled to Ciricleville to see a Friend. We had coffee and talked for hours. Reminds me of coffee dates with Craig Jones. We would just sit and talk for hours about everything. Those are the types of things I really enjoy!!

----

Last night we had an extremely interesting show. First act was about 85° out with the humidity being about 99%. The second act was where it changed.

Intermission the storm camea rolling through. We held the show for a good 30-35 minutes. It was looking a little shady, but we were able to get started again!!

We had about an hour break and then started the show again. This time the temp was about 75° with very little humidity. It was two completely different shows. When we started back up, I felt like we were just doing another show. I was not tired like I normally am after the first act becuase of that break.

Tonght, we have a small chance for rain, should be nothing....hopefully!!

-----

I hope you have an amazing Thursday/Friday! I will update again soon. I have this plan on Saturday. What is it?? Well you will have to follow along to find out.

If you know anything special to do this summer, please pass along the ideas!!
